Visitors and Joining Galilee

First and foremost...welcome visitors!  We warmly welcome all those who wish to visit Galilee and pray that all people find Christ in a church home that enlivens the Holy Spirit within them.  If you find that Galilee fills that purpose, please continue to visit us and know that membership is not required for 99% of the activities in the church.  Worship, holy communion, Sunday School, small groups, pot lucks, mission trips...they are open to everyone!

As Christ calls us to commit our lives to him, we also encourage visitors to consider joining the church as the next clear step in defining a commitment to support God's church with your prayers, presence, gifts and service.

You may contact us through email: info(at)galileeumc.org, by phone:(703)430-2203, or by attending one of our Sunday Morning Worship services and indicating your first time attendance on the registration card. There is also a space on the attendance registration to check off interest in the Newcomer Class or to request membership information, a call, adult or child baptism.

After worshipping with us, you will receive a follow up phone call from a person on our ministry staff along with packet of information about the many spiritual opportunities available through Galilee United Methodist Church. Expect a visit from the Welcome Express the following week too, delivering a special surprise to your home for you and your family to enjoy.

Galilee provides two unique ways to learn more about Galilee and its staff as you make the decision of whether to join the church:  Meet the Pastors and Staff Coffee and Newcomers Class.
