Children's Church

Children’s Church is an educational program for children 4 years old thru 2nd graders. Children's Church starts at 10:30 a.m. in room 200.
Children's Church uses a curriculum called KidsOwn Worship, by Group Publishing.
KidsOwn Worship is for 4 year olds to 2nd graders and connects what children learn in Sunday school with worship that takes place in a larger group. Children learn what worship is all about and begin to practice it at church and in their own lives.
KidsOwn Worship has take-home papers called Driving Home Point for the Whole Family. These papers give you the Bible Point, Bible Story, Key Verse and many questions to ask the whole family during the week about their Sunday School Class.
During Children’s Church the children may be going into the Sanctuary for a Children’s Mission at the beginning of Class. Children’s Mission is every Sunday except for the last Sunday of every month.
A complete registration form is required for any child attending Sunday School, Children's Church and the Nursery. These forms provide important information to the church that allow us to better serve your needs and be a support for families in times of need. This form need only be completed once per child. - SAFETY is the number one priority at Galilee UMC; therefore, children in the nursery up to children in forth grade are given kiddie keepers. Kiddie keepers are in a set of two that are numbered; one is a clip placed on the child and one is a bracelet for the parent to keep during the service. The only way we will let a child go home with you is returning the same number clip and bracelet to the teacher.
