Nursery
"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." - Proverbs 22:6
Galilee UMC provides a bright, safe, and loving nursery during each worship service for children of the following ages:
- 9:00 a.m. - 0 to 24 months
- 10:30 a.m. - 0 to age 3 years
You and your children will be welcomed by our paid staff members, Deb Callahan, Sahra Houssainzadah, Danielle Kearney and Linda Simmons. Our nursery also counts on parent volunteers during each service.
Every family is given silent beeper at check-in of their child(ren) along with the kiddie keeper (see safety notes below). If for any reason the Staff/Volunteers need you to come back to the Nursery you would be beep and the beeper will vibrate.
A complete registration form is required for any child attending Sunday School, Children's Church and the Nursery. These forms provide important information to the church that allow us to better serve your needs and be a support for families in times of need. This form need only be completed once per child. - SAFETY is the number one priority at Galilee UMC; therefore, children in the nursery up to children in forth grade are given kiddie keepers. Kiddie keepers are in a set of two that are numbered; one is a clip placed on the child and one is a bracelet for the parent to keep during the service. The only way we will let a child go home with you is returning the same number clip and bracelet to the teacher.
- All teachers have had background check before anyone is able to teach with any infant thru 18 years old. Please click here to see the Children’s/Youth Protection Policy along with our Background Check Application.
