Sunday School for Preteens (5th and 6th graders)
Preteens will meet at "Preteen Central" and utilize a curriculum called Grapple, by Group Publishing.
On Sunday mornings, room 204 will be transformed into Preteen Central. The class will be web-based and highly interactive. Students will have their own secure log-in at www.mygrapple.com, where they can chat with the classmates and teachers, submit prayer requests and “God sightings,” search the bible for answers to clues and given throughout the week about that lesson, play video games and even participate in polls where they can vote on such things as which game they play next week, or what their next snack will be. And, the best part about this the student can access this website from home on their own time.
We would encourage them to come dressed casually because you never know what they may be doing in there from week to week, and we want them to be as comfortable sitting on the floor as they are in a chair. This will not be like any Sunday school class they’ve ever been in before, and we just know they’re going to love it!
