June 1, 2017
Throughout the spring, members of the 2017 Confirmation class asked themselves tough questions about the faith which this Sunday will become their own.
“What do I believe?” “What is the meaning of creation?” “What do people mean by sin and redemption?” These are important questions which all mature believers must grapple with. Our students were guided through these weighty matters in a class that lasted two months and was led by our pastors. On Sunday, each confirmand will offer their answer to the most important question of all: “Who is Jesus? And will I follow Him?”
On Sunday, they will stand to be confirmed as full members of the United Methodist Church.

2017’s confirmands have spent weeks investigating the faith and sorting out what belief will mean in their lives.
Confirmation will be conducted during the 11am worship service this Sunday, June 4. Following worship, there will be a reception in honor of the confirmands in the lobby. This is a great chance to say hello and give encouragement to our Class of 2017.
