Congratulations to the Confirmation Class of 2019

This spring, members of the 2019 Confirmation class have been opening the Bible, talking to mentors, meeting with the pastor, and engaging in service—all to learn about the Christian faith that this Sunday they will make their own.

“What do I believe?” “What is God like?” “What do people mean by salvation, sin, or redemption?” These are important questions which all mature believers must grapple with. Our students were guided through these weighty matters in a class that lasted two months and was led by our Director of Family Ministry, Pam Bentley. On Sunday, each Confirmand will offer their answer to the most important question of all: “Who is Jesus? And will I follow Him?”

On Sunday, they will stand to be confirmed as full members of the United Methodist Church.

Confirmation will be conducted during the 11am worship service this Sunday, May 19. Following worship, there will be a reception in honor of the Confirmands in the lobby and the music room. This is a great chance to say hello and give encouragement to our Class of 2019.
