February 10, 2019 is Scout Sunday at Galilee!
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will feature in our Sunday service that day in an event that underlines our support for scouting while also allowing scouts to complete the faith component of their merit programs.
Roles for scouts during Scout Sunday include: Greeter/usher, acolyte, crossbearer, reader for the morning prayer, and liturgist.
In addition, we’ll hear from the Youth Music Ensemble, open both to scouts and to other middle school and high school student musicians. There will be two rehearsals between services (10-11am) on Sunday Jan 27th and Sunday Feb 3rd. If your student is interested and has already performed in band or concert events at their school, we’re eager to have them in the Youth Music Ensemble.
Sign up for scout volunteer positions and/or Youth Music Ensemble here.
