What’s going on? Have a look at the church calendar

The 40-day season of Lent is when we prepare our hearts, minds, and bodies for the holiest day of the Christian calendar, Easter Sunday. Some people like to fast or “give something up” for Lent. Others take on new disciplines and challenges.

At Galilee, we’re offering the Wellness Challenge. Let’s strengthen our spirits and bodies by thinking about the way we move in the world. Take a look at the challenges listed above and incorporate exercise in your daily life. Also, follow us on Facebook to receive a special spiritual challenge every day during lent.

Come out and join us on March 31 at 8:30 am as we do a 5k/10k race in the Broad Run Farms neighborhood, a one-mile Fun Run, and a Prayer Walk around the church grounds. You choose your level of exertion. It’s free and will be an opportunity for us to spend time together, praying and exercising as a church community.
