Visitors
First and foremost...welcome visitors! We warmly welcome all those who wish to visit Galilee and pray that all people find Christ in a church home that enlivens the Holy Spirit within them. As Christ calls us to commit our lives to Him, we also encourage visitors to consider joining the church as the next clear step in defining a commitment to support God's church with your prayers, presence, gifts and service.
Joining Galilee
Becoming a member at Galilee United Methodist Church means that we commit to a life of faith in Christ through our prayers, presence, gifts, and service. As members, we commit ourselves to spiritual growth in this community of faith by living out the principles of our Mission Statement of Building a community of deeply committed Christians by: Connecting, Teaching and Serving.
Steps to Membership
Galilee provides two unique ways to learn more about the church and its staff as you make the decision of whether to join: Meet the Pastors - Staff Social and Newcomer Class. These provide an opportunity to meet with the Pastors, to hear about Galilee and its history, and to have some discussion about membership. It is also a time to get connected into the various ministries and small groups at Galilee. Watch the Sunday bulletin or call the church office at 703-430-2203 for the timing of these events. Follow the link to additional Commonly Asked Questions.
If after prayerful consideration, you decide to make the commitment to become a member of Galilee United Methodist Church you may do so in one of three ways:
