The Women of Galilee is a dynamic group of active women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ: to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.  

There are many ways in which you may become involved in the Women of Galilee!  Any woman who comes to worship here is automatically a Woman of Galilee, so we urge you to join us!  We meet monthly and our gatherings are BYOD (bring your own dinner), and we'll provide dessert and fellowship. Please contact the Galilee UMC office 703-430-2203 for the next meeting date. If childcare is necessary, please contact the church office.  

Some ways in which to become involved are:

• Working with LINK to help distribute food baskets for families during the holiday season
• Working with our mission team to help plan for upcoming mission trips
• Helping to plan various fundraisers to benefit mission teams
• Helping to organize church-wide events
• Attending our Women's Retreat  -- a great opportunity to meet new women and make  new friends
• Attending one of our various social activities, such as dessert and a movie
• Attending our Christmas Tea and Ornament Exchange
