We believe that God has commanded parents to raise their children to be disciples of Jesus. Parents do this by proclaiming the works of God (primarily the Gospel) so that their children will trust Him, and by teaching the law of God so that their children will obey Him. (Deuteronomy 6:6; Psalm 78:1-7)
The Family Ministry Team is a resource to support and equip parents to carry out this duty. Every activity we do with children and youth functions as an augmentation of the parents’ primary role in discipleship.
One Conversation is a resource for parents. It summarizes what all age levels are learning week-by-week in Sunday School and Youth Discipleship. It also provides insight into how you can discuss it with your children at other points during the week. We recommend you look at this regularly to stay up-to-date with what your children are learning on Sundays outside the sanctuary.
