We believe that God has commanded parents to raise their children to be disciples of Jesus. Parents do this by proclaiming the works of God (primarily the Gospel) so that their children will trust Him, and by teaching the law of God so that their children will obey Him. (Deuteronomy 6:6; Psalm 78:1-7)
The Family Ministry Team is a resource to support and equip parents to carry out this duty. Every activity we do with children and youth functions as an augmentation of the parents’ primary role in discipleship.
Parents will find partners in the job of raising children and youth in our Sunday School classes at 10 am on Sundays, in our Youth Group meetings at 7pm on Sundays, and in regular events such as Vacation Bible School, camps, and the Fall Festival.
