The Women of Galilee is a dynamic group of active women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ: to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
There are many ways in which you may become involved in the Women of Galilee! Any woman who comes to worship here is automatically a Woman of Galilee, so we urge you to join us! We meet on the third Monday of every month, from 6:30-8:00 pm, and our gatherings are BYOD (bring your own dinner), and we'll provide dessert and fellowship. If childcare is necessary, please contact the church office.
Some ways in which to become involved are:
- Working with LINK to help distribute food baskets for families during the holiday season
- Working with our mission team to help plan for upcoming mission trips
- Helping to plan various fundraisers to benefit the mission teams, such as our annual Rummage Sale
- Helping to organize church-wide events such as our Fall Open House in September
- Attending our annual Women's Retreat on April 25-26 -- a great opportunity to meet new women and make new friends!
- Attending one of our various social activities, such as dessert and a movie -- a great time for fellowship!
- Attending our upcoming Christmas Tea and Ornament Exchange on Sunday, December 9 at 12:00 noon
