Costa Rican Mission Teams
Join us as we help with construction on various church building projects in the city of Alejuela and the town of Carillos.  In July of 2006, we sent our first mission team to Costa Rica in conjunction with a church in Ohio.  We continue to send mission teams in cooperation with other churches each summer and we look forward to a long and fruitful journey with our fellow Methodists in Costa Rica!  View Photo Gallery.

Heifer International
Help Heifer International to give people the means to lift themselves and their communities up to self-reliance through gifts of livestock via the "Quarter Tube" and yearly "Ark Drive"...fulfilling their mission to end hunger.

Sierra Leone Child Rescue Center (CRC)
As of today nearly 250 children are secure in the trust that they will be cared for, that they will be given the best possible opportunities for education and life skills training, that their healthcare needs will be met, and that people love them and will help them succeed.

Join with us in support of the CRC and Mercy Hospital by joining a mission team, making gifts to yearly individual child and hospital sponsorships, writing pen pal letters, participating in an Annual Benefit Run/Walk or other various partnership support opportunities.  Galilee, in partnership with several other churches, sponsors the Child Rescue Centre (CRC), an orphanage and school, in Bo, Sierra Leone, Africa along with Mercy Hospital, a medical clinic with a full-time, on-site doctor near the Child Rescue Centre complex.  View Photo Gallery of mission trip.

United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (VIM)
Be someone who steps out in faith to serve the needs of communities around the world.  United Methodist Volunteers In Mission is the short-term mission agency of the United Methodist Church.  It exists to promote, encourage, and enable Christians to exemplify “Christian Love In Action” through short-term mission service in the United States and abroad.  Common to all is a desire to serve and a willingness to share the gospel as part of a work team or as an individual volunteer.
