Who we are…and what we do

Who We Are

Galilee is a church that believes we are ordinary people called to an extraordinary purpose: to know Christ and to make Him known. We got our start in 1959, when the residents of Broad Run Farms in rural Loudoun County dreamed of creating their own church. Worship began in our original building in 1965.

Today, Loudoun is no longer that rural county. It is a powerful and bustling community, a center for business and government. Galilee has grown, too, into a diverse congregation that remains committed to serving our neighbors and witnessing for Christ as we worship, connect, grow, and serve.

We’re a church. Sunday morning services are at 9am and 11am. We’ve got a great choir and would love for you to join us. We’d especially like to see you at the hour between services, when we break into small groups for what we call the Grow Hour (it usually starts at 10:15).

We’re also a preschool. And more, we’re a community center that is home to Early Head Start, recovery programs, sports leagues in our gym, scouts, and much more.

Stop by and check us out.

What We Do

Connect | Worship | Grow | Serve

– Connect to God and others, because the essence of faith is in relationships.

– Worship God through message and music.

– Grow in understanding through small groups in study, prayer, and mission.

– Serve through missions where our spiritual gifts uplift others.

These things we do to know Christ and to make Christ known.
