The music ministry of Galilee UMC is designed to provide an outlet for musical expression for all who desire it. We believe church music should glorify and praise God, proclaim the good News of Jesus Christ, and inspire the congregation to higher levels of commitment to God.

Several music groups are currently meeting, with more groups planned:
The Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir meets Wednesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. and sings at the regularly scheduled services on Sunday mornings except during the month of July and part of August. The Sanctuary Choir performs two cantatas every year; at Christmas and Easter. Membership is open to adults with junior standing in high school or above and have a commitment to rehearsals.
Instrumentalists
The music ministry welcomes all who are gifted as an instrumentalist: pianist, organist, guitarist, flutist, handbell, etc. & to add variety and musical expression. If you are interested in performing with the Sanctuary Choir during Sunday worship services, please contact Mary Anne Brundage.
The Children's Choir
All children grades 2nd - 6th are encouraged to come join our Children's Choir that meets every Thursday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Music Room. The Children's Choir performs during the 10:30 Sunday worship service each third Sunday of the month during the school year. Children are encouraged to come and bring their friends for some fun & music!
The Cherub Choir
All children from 3 years old to 1st grade are encouraged to come join our Cherub Choir. The Cherub Choir meets Thursdays, 6:30pm -7:30pm in Room 202. For more info call the church office at 703 - 430-2203.
