Covenant Prayer Group
Galilee's Covenant Prayer Group meets weekly on Monday evening at 7 p.m. to pray together for the concerns raised by the Congregations at the Galilee and Leisure World locations. Concerns that come to the Covenant Prayer Group include those presented at the previous Sunday's worship, those placed with the Internet Prayer Chapel or dropped in the Prayer Box outside the church office.
The Covenant Prayer Group is part of the Upper Room National Prayer Chain and receives about 10 requests per week from the Upper Room International Prayer Line located in Nashville. Pastor Bob Bavender is present at these meetings. The Covenant Prayer Group also participates in the Prayer and Healing services held quarterly on Friday evenings in our sanctuary.
Contact Pastor Bob or Dave LeRoy or the church office at (703) 430-2203 about becoming a part of the Covenant Prayer Group. The requirements for being in the group are simply the belief in prayer and willingness for weekly participation.
