Galilee celebrated its annual Scout Sunday on February 2, with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies and Cubs filling roles in worship. Girl Scout Claire Semler came to the pulpit as our worship leader and Liam Harris delivered an effective Children’s Message. On the choir stand, soloist Naya Strunk sang beautifully and the trumpets of Bryan Advincula and Josh Markwood rang out in praise and worship.

Scouts opened doors, greeted visitors, collected the offering, and—most importantly—prayed and worshipped with us. It was great to see the respectful and responsible young people in our church. They represent their generation well.

We thank all the scouts who served this weekend and the adult leaders and volunteers who lent their wisdom and guidance.
