Last week, C4ADS (Center for Advanced Defense Studies), a nonprofit that uses technology to tackle transnational issues like slavery and smuggling, helped Galilee tackle the issue of food insecurity in Loudoun County. 

C4ADS held their team building workshop at Salamander Resort in Middleburg. To test their puzzle and problem solving skills, they designed a scavenger hunt with the object of collecting food items for Backpack Buddies. Teams roamed throughout the resort searching for clues to hidden caches of food. When finished, they packed 480 bags for our first food distribution this school year.
