Preschool is Back!

The halls of Galilee are filled with sounds that we didn’t hear for an awfully long time. There is laughing, and shouting, and cheering, and giggles. That’s because Galilee Christian School is back and our halls have preschoolers in them again.

Can we get an amen to that?!

“We are so happy to welcome our friends to school every day and love seeing these children learn!” says Galilee Christian School director Amy Utterback. “These boys and girls have done a fabulous job adapting to new school routines and have made wonderful new friends. We may all be masking, but even a mask can’t hide the joy we feel about being in preschool together.”

It’s not just the kids who have had to adapt, of course. The staff of Galilee Christian School have shown remarkable resilience in the face of Covid shutdowns.

“Our preschool teachers are thrilled to be back in school and we’ve tried to use the shutdown to our advantage by taking the time to revise and improve our curriculum, source new reading materials, and plan new projects to help students develop the school-readiness skills they will need to go to kindergarten.”

As you can imagine, Covid did a number on our preschool’s enrollment and business plan. We are so happy to offer an educationally rich, safe schooling environment for our community’s children–and we could use your help in getting the word out again about Galilee Christian School.
