Christmas Eve Family Service Pageant - 5pm

As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus, we are looking for some young actors to participate in the pageant portion of our Christmas Eve Family Service, which will be at 5:00 pm this year.



The following characters will be in this year’s production, which is called “Be Born in Us Today.”
 
SPEAKING ROLES:
 
Mom: Looking for a Middle/High School Youth to play this role.
Dad: Looking for a Middle/High School Youth to play this role.
Sibling 1: Looking for an Upper Elementary/Middle School Child to play this role.
Sibling 2: Looking for an Elementary School Child to play this role.
 
NON-SPEAKING ROLES:
 
Mary: Looking for an Upper Elementary/Middle School Child to play this role.
Joseph: Looking for an Upper Elementary/Middle School Child to play this role.
Innkeeper: Any age
Angel: Any age
Shepherd #1: Any age
Shepherd #2: Any age
Shepherd #3: Any age
 
SINGERS: Any age (Dressed as Angels)
 
Mandatory rehearsal dates are:
 
November 13th: 11 am to 12 noon
November 20th: 11 am to 12 noon
December 4th: 11 am to 12 noon
December 11th: 11 am to 12 noon
December 18th: 11 am to 12 noon
December 23rd: 5 pm to 6 pm (DRESS REHEARSAL)

A message from this year’s pageant director, Vanessa Wells:

“Hi Everyone! My name is Vanessa Wells. I am a junior at George Mason University studying early childhood education. I also have an Associate degree from NOVA in elementary education social sciences. Before coming to Galilee, I worked in Sunday school and the nursery at Restoration Church. I love working with kids, because I love being able to help them grow and they always have something interesting to say. After I graduate Mason I am hoping to be a preschool or Kindergarten teacher and also be a Sunday school teacher.”
