We asked our 2021 Confirmation class to introduce themselves and let us know what they are looking forward to during Confirmation. This is what they told us.
Rico Jones | Rico is in the 7th grade at Seneca Ridge Middle School. He enjoys sports, playing video games, and reading. Rico plays flag football and basketball, participates in a CrossFit group, and is active in Youth Group. Rico is looking forward to feeling like he is a part of the church and that he has accomplished a milestone toward adulthood. |
Eric Advincula | Eric is in the 8th grade at River Bend Middle School. He enjoys playing video games, soccer, and Boy Scouts. He is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, his soccer team, and is active in Youth Group. Eric is looking forward to being part of the church. |
Luke Makowski | Luke is in the 8th grade at Trailside Middle School. He likes getting outside and playing football. Luke participates in Youth Group and Boy Scouts. Luke is looking forward to being a full member of the church. |
Joshua Bolton | Josh is in the 8th grade a River Bend Middle School. He likes listening to music in his free time. Josh is looking forward to being connected with God in a direct way. |
Hailey Thompson | Hailey is in the 7th grade at River Bend Middle School. She enjoys ice skating, baking, and art. Hailey is involved in Girls Scouts, Youth Group, and Team Ashburn Synchronized Skating. Hailey is looking forward to becoming closer to God. |
Sophie Leftwich | Sophie is in the 7th grade at Belmont Ridge Middle School. She like riding horses and painting. Sophie is a camp counselor at Van Vixen Farms and is a member of our Youth Council. Sophie would like to learn how to have a closer relationship with Jesus. |
