Galilee offers regular in-person worship and small groups meet at the church. For the time being, all persons entering the building must sign in at the check- in table. We ask that visitors wear masks and socially distance.

Sunday Morning Worship

Galilee is back to in person worship, no registration required. Masks are recommended.

Galilee 9am Worship – led by Pastors Jason Duley and Geitra Mickelson. Worship music by Jordan Markwood with the choir, soloists, handbells or the Galilee Praise Project. Includes programming for families with young children.

Chapel 10am Worship – led by Pastor Steve Hall at Lansdowne Woods for our sister congregation of seniors. A recorded version is available on Mondays at 9am on Facebook and our other platforms.

Each service is offered in person and through our livestream channels and will always be available on demand.

Third Grade Bible Presentation

Help your third grader start 2022 on solid ground! We’re giving third graders their very own Bible during worship on Sunday, January 30.

Then a 7-week course will be offered on Sundays at 10:30 – 11:15am from February 6 through March 20. Through fun and engaging discussion activities, Pastor Geitra and Family Ministry leader Suzie Leftwich will help your third graders learn how to navigate the Bible and learn Scripture on their own.

This course is in-person, but that may change given the environment and parental preference. Please know that if your schedule does not allow participation in the 7-week course, your third grader can still participate in the presentation ceremony on January 30th. Please contact Suzie Leftwich at suzie.leftwich@galileeumc.org by January 28th to register.

Youth Retreat

This day will have all the pieces of a weekend retreat – just in one day! Join in at Camp Highroad for games, discussions, free time to explore, and worship.

We will be joined by Oakdale, Herndon, and Centreville United Methodist Churches. You will hear from other Youth Leaders and meet students from around the area.

Cost: $30 per student to cover lunch, dinner, and supplies.

Register HERE.

Retreat is Monday, February 21st (9am to 7pm). Registration closes on February 13th.

Fresh Food Drive for Loudoun

Galilee Church supports Loudoun Hunger Relief, the county’s largest food pantry, with donations of fresh and shelf stable food. We are grateful for generous hearts!

After a Covid-created hiatus, we are beginning regular fresh food collections again. Bring donations of fresh produce to church on the LAST SUNDAY of each month. You will find a shopping list of desired items here.

Drivers are needed each month to deliver food to the Leesburg pantry. To volunteer, contact Kathi Miller.
