I’m finding it important to be able to create loveliness in my life. I know those of you who know me well are laughing because you are as aware as I am that I don’t sew or decorate or grow beautiful flowers or do much of anything creative. I do like to write and reflect on what I see.
The loveliness I’m speaking of is in clearing my mind and heart of debris and clutter – to gather the unforgiving attitude we carry and the resentment and hatred and blame we harbor in our souls and rid ourselves of the mess to make room for the Spirit.
The Lord who created the universe gave each of us capabilities. It is God who is training us to be content, with as much or with little, to give generously of all we are given, and to help those in need. We don’t have to be tremendously successful or consistent but it is critical to share. We need to practice the art of ‘receive and release’.
I need to accept in my heart that that the Lord has trusted us with enough, which is more than enough to live.
Trust. Do not fear.
The Lord is with you.
He will strengthen you and uphold you.
Stop hoarding and let go of bad feelings.
Open up your hearts and let the sun shine in.
