Christ sent us out to all parts of the world with a new mandate: to love one another. But we also need to love one another in our own homes, and that’s something that we can do well or not so well. Love is the full tank of gas that takes us places, but if we’re not adept at giving or receiving love—if we lack the words to express ourselves properly—we can be like a car that’s running on fumes.
Our new six-week sermon series “Everlasting Love” is about keeping our tank of love full by learning the various ways that love can be effectively shown and expressed. We’re going to learn how to “speak” love. Based on the book, “The Five Languages of Love,” by Dr. Gary Chapman, this series will help you improve all the relationships in your life.
“Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
