Sunday was drizzly, so we moved our Fall Kick-Off picnic indoors. It was still a great day full of fun and fellowship. Thanks to all who came and to our magnificent volunteers, the folks who set up, the cooks, the food handlers, and the clean-up crew. It takes a community to make a picnic happen!

Community is important to Galilee, because our mission doesn’t begin and end in the church building. Our commitment is to know God through worship and study, but then to bring the love of God to our friends, family, neighbors, and all who need it. When we build strong bonds of friendship and encourage one another in Christian faith, we can do a better job of that…so be on the look out for future Galilee events and also our friend- and faith-building small groups. Because community starts with you!
