When Hurricane Ian devastated Florida and imperiled a wide swath of the Southeast, we made a modest request for donations to help with relief. Your response was swift and overwhelming.

The district asked Galilee (and similar-sized churches) to make ten flood buckets. We raised more than enough to make 26 buckets! Pastor Steve Hall, Jenn Duley, and Lisa Collins purchased the bucket contents and Galilee’s Youth Group assembled them. Those buckets are headed to UMCOR now, along with a check representing the extra money that was sent in.

Great work! The residents of Florida will feel the impact of our efforts at Galilee and the Chapel. Efforts inspired by God’s love.
