Our sermon series this November focuses on the story of David. Think about it: David and Goliath. David and Saul. David and Bathsheba. David, the man after God’s own heart, faced more “gigantic” challenges than one. So do we, when we encounter stress, debt, disease, dishonesty, and confront our many limitations. Like David, we can have faith that through God, all things are possible. And like David, we can draw upon God’s protection and provision when fighting our battles. We can even be sure that our weaknesses are, for God, a tremendous strength.

The November worship series is called “Facing Giants,” and Pastor Jason Duley will use it as a challenge to us. Can we face adversity with less fear and more faith? The Max Lucado book called FACING YOUR GIANTS will make an excellent companion piece to Jason’s sermons, as well as a solid tool for small groups.

Put aside your fear and pick up your faith in God. He still does the impossible and He is waiting to present you with the irrefutable evidence, in your own life, that His mercy and His love are bigger than any giant.
