There’s always something going on in Galilee’s wonderful facilities, including events that aren’t church-run. We have classrooms, conference rooms, kitchens, and a gymnasium (Eric’s Place) that regularly host “extracurricular” activities.
Look below at some of the regular activities that happen at Galilee. For information about an activity or to start something new, email our church office: info@galileeumc.org.
Do you want to learn how to kit or crochet? Do you know how, but it’s been a while? The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a group of caring knitters and crocheters who make prayer shawls and other worthy projects. They’d be happy to show you how it’s done.
The group’s meetings are on the second Sunday of every month after church, so around 11am, in the small conference room off the Narthex.

Galilee is proud to open its doors to recovery groups who do step work on all types of hurts and addictions. In-person groups meet at the church and some groups also meet online.
For confidentiality, Galilee leaves it to the groups themselves to organize meetings and provide information about their schedules. Click below for information on outside groups who may be of help:
No fuss, no muss, just dinner. Let’s get together this fall. Couples, singles, families with kids—these suppers are for everyone. Fellowship Suppers are regular events held the first Tuesday of every month. Each Go+Be Supper is an evening of friendly discussion, good food, and an activity.
