Children’s ministry is always looking for new volunteers to come and join Children’s Church in our classrooms one Sunday a month. Youth may volunteer as well. Please contact Vanessa.Wells@Galileeumc.org if you would be interested in volunteering to help out.
This week in Children’s Church we’re learning about God’s patient love for us. He is with us wherever we go!
Mr. Don’s Bible History Class for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders is an integral part of faith formation in Galilee’s Family Ministry. Don is excited to investigate Bible history with your children in these twice monthly sessions.
Classes are usually held on the second and fourth Sundays of the month and will include a service activity in the Backpack Buddies Pantry. Our goal is to strengthen the bonds of this cohort as they get ready for Youth Group, and engage them in meaningful service that will benefit THEIR church.

Are your children interested in serving as an acolyte during worship services?

Volunteers
Children’s ministry is looking for volunteers to come and join children’s church one Sunday a month. This helps meet our safe sanctuary policy of having two adults in the room. You will remain in the sanctuary until the end of the children’s message, and then walk with the kids back to the children’s church. All lessons are carefully planned, so you will be engaged but not doing a lot of heavy lifting. Youth may volunteer as well. The nursery, Room 304, is open and staffed during worship.
(School aged children)
We believe it is important that children be welcome at worship! All kids can join us in the sanctuary at 10am on Sundays. There will be special messages for children early in the service. Preschoolers through third graders are also invited to join us at Children’s Church in Room 203 or the gym. Older kids will often have the opportunity to attend Bible History Class. For children who are staying for worship in the sanctuary, we have activity bags available in the Kid’s Corner of our lobby for those needing a little distraction.
