Galilee Book Club

Be a part of the Galilee Book Club, a group of supportive Christians reading books. We’ve welcomed several new members recently, and you should join, too! The only requirement is that you love reading. And also eating, because we do that, too. Each meeting doubles as a potluck supper, usually with food ideas taken from the book we’re discussing.

We take turns to choose one title a month and meet (usually) on the fourth Sunday @ 5:00 for open discussion.

October is spooky season, so once again the Galilee Book Club enters darker territory with a classic Gothic novel. Last October we read Frankenstein.

A delicious potluck dinner isn’t all we’ll be biting this time around. We’ll also be tearing into Bram Stoker’s Dracula. It wasn’t the first vampire novel or story, but it sure took flight in the imagination, making romantic, undead bloodsuckers a staple of our culture. Come join us for a spirited discussion of this Halloween favorite. Bring your own garlic.
