Sunday Night Youth Group

Sunday Night Youth Group is our premier activity for middle to high schoolers. If you are new to Galilee or are a 6th grader new t0 our Youth Group, please email to receive links and all of the communications.

Sunday Night Youth Group will return on September 11 at 7:00pm.

Summer Bible Study

 We will meet July 12, July 26 and August 9 this summer to read the book of James together and, of course, have ice cream. It is a very short book with lots of application to discuss.  If you are interested, please tell Lisa by July 1. We’ll work out specific meeting times as a group and adjust the dates if necessary.

Food Truck Party

BomBurger Food Truck and Hershey’s Mobile Ice Cream will be at Galilee from 5:30 to 7:30pm on Friday, July 15th to help us wrap up our VBS Food Truck Party week. Plan to come for dinner and stay for a Youth Family Kick Ball game. The game is expected to start about 6:45pm. 

Summer Venture 2022

Youth@Galilee will hit the road this summer to travel to Mechanicsburg, PA to stay at the Silver Spring Retreat Center. We will do service projects at Mission Central and New Hope Ministries and spend a day at Hershey Park!

  • Dates: Monday, July 18 – Friday, July 22, 2022
  • Place: Mechanicsburg, PA
  • Time: Depart Monday afternoon and return Friday afternoon
  • Ages: Rising 7th to rising 12th grade students
  • Cost: Prior to May 1 $280, After May 1 $300.

Can Castle Competition

We collected OVER A TON of canned food at our Can Castle Competition on April 24. Our judges were Matt and Kathi Miller who also coordinated delivery to Loudoun Hunger Relief. Teams had 30 minutes to build a castle, Winners include:

  • Tallest structure: Team To the Moon!
  • Most Creative: Luke’s Team
  • Most Castle-like: The Squire Squad
  • Honorable mention for Best Soldiers (Castle Crafters), Best Moat (Kayden’s Team) and Coolest (Castle Dominators)


President's Day Retreat 2022

Galilee Youth joined teens from Oakdale Church in Olney, MD (led by Galilee veteran Andrew Hall and his wife Rachel) and nearby churches Herndon UMC and Centreville UMC to talk about our identity as children of God, how we belong to the family of Christ, and our purpose as a part of God’s story.
