Sunday Night Youth Group is our premier activity for middle to high schoolers. If you are new to Galilee or are a 6th grader new t0 our Youth Group, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive links and all of the communications.
We’re going on retreat at Camp Highroad (meeting at the Dining Hall, 21164 Steptoe Hill Rd, Middleburg, VA which is off Rt 15 south of Leesburg).
It’s not just us! We will be joined by Sterling, Herndon, and Centreville United Methodist Churches. You will hear from multiple youth leaders and meet students from around the area.
A detailed schedule for the day will be available with precise start and end times closer to the event. For now, hold the date: Saturday, November 5 from 9am to 7pm.
Cost: $35 per student to cover lunch, dinner, and supplies.

Youth@Galilee hit the road with summer travel to Mechanicsburg, PA between July 18 – 22 for our first actual mission trip of the post-pandemic era.
They stayed at the Silver Spring Retreat Center and worked service projects at Mission Central and New Hope Ministries in Mechanicsburg. Finally, they finished off with a deserved day at Hershey Park!

We collected OVER A TON of canned food at our Can Castle Competition on April 24. Our judges were Matt and Kathi Miller who also coordinated delivery to Loudoun Hunger Relief. Teams had 30 minutes to build a castle, Winners include:
Galilee Youth joined teens from Oakdale Church in Olney, MD (led by Galilee veteran Andrew Hall and his wife Rachel) and nearby churches Herndon UMC and Centreville UMC to talk about our identity as children of God, how we belong to the family of Christ, and our purpose as a part of God’s story. We have tools to ease conversations about expectations on cell phone use, driving, gaming, being home alone, and technology.
