It is stewardship season at Galilee. However this fall we’re not talking about giving to Galilee, but about giving to God through Galilee. Giving cheerfully is the obvious response to the joy that we receive through Christ. We want this church to be a tool for you, a way in which the gifts that dwell within you abundantly can be put to work for His Kingdom. Having received so much from our generous God, we want to be a generous people. Generous not just with our tithes, but with our time and our talents. Giving not just at church on Sunday, but giving ourselves to God every place we find ourselves, every day of the week.
Our October sermon series is called Grow in Faith Through Generosity. Over the course of three weeks, Pastor Jason Duley will examine how our response to Christ in giving can transform our walk in this world.
This October, come listen and learn again the reward that has already been handed to the cheerful giver.
