Galilee Christmas Market

December 12, 2024

Were you there?!?

Galilee’s 2nd annual Christmas Market was held on Saturday, December 7.  It was an enormous success! Our halls were filled with hundreds of friends and holiday shoppers looking for unique crafts and vendors. There was the world’s best bake sale, photos with Santa, dozens of remarkable silent auction items, and other festive attractions.

The numbers are still being run, but it looks like the Market brought in more than $13,500 for Backpack Buddies! That’s really something…more than double the figure for last year.

It couldn’t have happened without Claudette Evans and her team of tireless volunteers including Helga Ishikawa, Kristen Jenkins, Carol Kearney, Sharon Kirkley, Samantha Moore, Carmen Smith, and Linda Stead. They oversaw additional volunteers, too numerous to name.

Thank you so much! Merry Christmas and God bless us, every one!

Linda Stead and Sharon Kirkley ran the popular Spin to Win game
