Galilee’s 3rd annual Christmas Market was held on Saturday, December 6. Our gym and Multipurpose Room were filled with vendors and hundreds of holiday shoppers were looking for unique crafts and gifts. There was a bake sale, dozens of remarkable silent auction items, and other festive attractions.

It was more than a shopping opportunity, of course. It was an early Christmas party where loving friends, family, and neighbors mingled with new faces from the community, all sharing holiday cheer and saying, “Merry Christmas!”

Very early initial numbers are being run, but it looks like the Market brought in more than $11,000 for Backpack Buddies! 

This event couldn’t have happened without Claudette Evans and her team of tireless volunteers including Sharon Casey, Ginger Chinnici, Ginny Herring, Helga Ishikawa, Kristen Jenkins, Carol Kearney, Sharon Kirkley, Kathi Miller, Samantha Moore, Carmen Smith and Linda Stead. They oversaw additional volunteers, too numerous to name.
