Galilee leads mission teams that serve God and the needs of our neighborhood, our country, and our world.

When you shop, donate, or volunteer at our Mission Fund Rummage Sale, you support Galilee’s Mission Fund which helps defray the costs of all our missions (foreign and domestic), as well as provide needed goods to the least among us in the Sterling community.

We unfortunately CANNOT accept:

  • Mattresses (including crib mattresses)Infant products (including Car Seats, Baby Cribs, Rock & Play Infant Sleepers, Swings, Activity Centers)
  • Cleaning Materials
  • Auto Parts
  • Skis and ski equipment
  • Flammable materials
  • Dirty clothing
  • Underwear
  • Large furniture – if you have to utilize a truck to  bring it, we cannot accept it.
  • Appliances
  • Damaged furniture
  • Televisions and computer monitors
 

Rummage sale proceeds benefit the Galilee Mission Fund, which defrays costs for Galilee mission participants here and abroad and supports our mission partners.

The Galilee Mission Fund supports church initiatives and trips both locally and internationally. We’ve sent our teens to work in rural Virginia counties and in neighborhood nonprofits. Our international team has gone to Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. We have two active missions in Sierra Leone. None of this would be possible without your generous support. The annual Mission Fund Rummage Sale is a big part of it.
