On Sunday, October 26, from 2–4pm, Galilee’s parking lot transformed into a spooktacular autumn wonderland for our annual Trunk or Treat! The air was filled with laughter, candy, and colorful surprises for families of all ages.
Highlights included a candy-launching air cannon, a bouncy castle, and a petting zoo that delighted both kids and adults. The firefighters and sheriff’s department joined the fun, keeping everyone safe while adding to the excitement. Guests enjoyed face painting, games, a raffle, and dozens of creatively decorated trunks, all alongside free hot dogs served by our amazing men’s group.
Our parking lot filled quickly, with visitors lining up along Winding Road as far as the eye could see. The men’s group prepared 600 hot dogs, and we estimate between 1,500–1,700 people joined the festivities — a true community celebration!
Galilee’s Trunk or Treat was a day of community, candy, and creativity, leaving smiles on faces and plenty of sweet memories for everyone.
Even Cruella’s dalmation was in costume!
First prize went to Gina Volk & kids for their tropical tiki bar. That flamingo costume!
Second prize went to the spooktacular Grinups car, manned by Alli and Paul.
Third place was awarded to DeLane Jones for her fun and educational pumpkin patch.
Valerie Hyde won our raffle. A big thank you goes to contest judges Sharon Howard-Denny and Donna Gottenkieny.
