It’s the first Sunday of the month, so join us for Communion. John Wesley believed the Lord’s Supper to be “the grand channel whereby the grace of his Spirit was conveyed to the souls of all the children of God” (Sermon 26: “Upon Our Lord’s Sermon on the Mount VI”, §III.11). This is one of the reasons he received the sacrament at least weekly most of his life.

In the evening, there will be a Youth Pool Party at the White’s house. 

Sunday, August 13

Our Believers sermon is about Saint Augustine of Hippo, one of the great thinkers of Christian history.

During worship, we’ll hear from a representative of our Costa Rica mission team. They traveled to Central America in June to build relationships with our mission partners at the Palabra Vive Methodist Church.

Sunday, August 20

Summer is almost over! It’s time to take a look back at all the brilliant activities that made this season so fun for our young people: Vacation Bible School, Summer Serve, and Summer Venture. We’ll take a moment to acknowledge our participants and volunteers.

Our Believers sermon will center on the Christian believer William Tyndale.

In the evening, there will be a Youth BIG GAME Night in the gym at 7pm. No RSVP required.

Time to get back to school, back to worship, and back together. Join this Sunday for our annual “Blessing of the Backpacks.”
