The

The Chapel is a fully operating campus of Galilee meeting the needs of the residents of Lansdowne Woods. The Chapel’s mission is to build a community of deeply committed Christians. Through this gathering of Christians, lives and the community will be transformed. We believe that the path to creating and sustaining this community is living and growing through an intentional spiritual journey that strives to grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

IN NORMAL TIMES, worship services are held each Sunday in the Monroe Auditorium at 10:00 am. However, the Chapel is not yet open for physical meetings. Contact Pastor Steve Hall for information about the Chapel or for your needs in regard to this ministry, steve.hall@galileeumc.org.

The Chapel welcomed Pastor Steve Hall and his wife Brenda in July 2020. Steve has a background in law enforcement and technology sales. He studied ministry at Duke University and previously led Macedonia UMC in Louisa, VA.

Pastor Steve hosts a Zoom prayer time for the Chapel on Mondays, 10 to 11am.
