May 14 was Youth Sunday at Galilee, when the young people of Galilee were front and center at our 10am service.

Worship was led by Galilee youth including Josh Bolton and Anya Jenkins who read the scripture, Kayden Comerford who delivered the children’s message, and Luke Makowski and Hailey Thompson who delivered inspirational messages. Brian Collins was back from college to conduct a youth flute ensemble, while Lily Kuebler played piano. Other youth served as ushers, greeters, acolytes, and stewards. We thank them all.

Additionally, we welcomed a special guest to Youth Sunday. Galilee supported Emmanuel Nabieu as he grew up at the Child Rescue Center in Sierra Leone. Now he has become a leader at Helping Children Worldwide and lives with his wife Kim in Virginia. Nabs briefed us on how we can help mothers and families in Sierra Leone and signed copies of  his new memoir.
